Janelle graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001. Following graduation she started working at Moruya Veterinary Hospital in December 2001. In March 2004 she left Moruya to travel & work overseas. During her time in England she locumed in small animal practices for the first 2 years & then took a position as an equine veterinarian near London.
In November 2009 Janelle returned to Moruya Veterinary Hospital. She has a strong interest in Equine medicine including equine dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys riding horses, playing sport & exercising her ever present companion Bo.
Stuart along with his wife Anneliese, came to the lovely Moruya after working in Tamworth. Stuart graduated from Charles Sturt University's Bachelor of Veterinary Science with first class Honors. In his final year Stuart was awarded the Pathology prize, Small animal medicine and surgery prize, the Cattle medicine prize and the overall Clinical competency prize. He has also completed a Bachelor of Science at University of Sydney.
Stuart loves travelling but knows that Moruya is the only place in the world for him! He enjoys watching rugby and cricket, travelling and working with his father on their Angus cattle stud in the Southern Highlands. He has a keen interest in all aspects of cattle medicine, surgery and reproduction but definitely enjoys his time in the clinic with the small animals, especially with avian species.
Anneliese, or Annie as she is commonly known, graduated with the inaugural class of Veterinary Science from Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga. After working three seasons in Leongatha, Victoria with dairy cattle, Annie had a stark change of scenery and moved to Tamworth to focus on small animal veterinary care. Although she enjoys her large animal work Annie loves her time in the clinic, and she has a keen interest in ultrasonography.
Annie enjoys travelling the world, exercising and walking, especially on the beach with her stumpy tail Jack Russell Terrier, Gracie who was originally bought as Stuart's dog! Along with their cat, Cash, Annie enjoys her family time.
Hailing from Sydney, Nicole is the newest member of our team. Nicole's interest in mixed animal practice has seen her make the sea change. After completing a degree in Animal Veterinary Bioscience she was awarded a position in the Sydney University Veterinary course, where she excelled. Although very humble she did top the final year of her course out of 120 students!
Nicole has a Neapolitan Mastiff named Zeus, and is interested in scuba diving and pleasure riding.
Nicole is an asset to Moruya Veterinary Hospital with interest in both small & large animals, pocket pets and wildlife.
Kellie is currently studying her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing. With her calm, compassionate nature Kellie is an asset to the Moruya Veterinary Hospital. She has been working at the animal hospital for nearly seven years and enjoys every aspect of her job especially surgical nursing.
Outside of work Kellie loves playing with her 2 year old Kelpie Rex and together they both frequently attend the Moruya Veterinary Hospitals Dog Walk on Thursdays. Not to be outdone, her quarterhorse Oakie gets to share some of Kellie's affection.
Nicki has graduated with a Certificate III in Equine Nursing, Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and has been working at Moruya Veterinary Hospital for nearly a decade. Her favourite aspects of the job are nursing the medical patients of the animal hospital and enjoys dog grooming. She has a border collie, named Molly who is clipped three times per year to keep her cool during the warmer months and allow for easier tick searches.
When Nicki is not working she enjoys riding, camping and spending time with her gorgeous son Jimmy, new daughter Ashley and fiance' Benny. She is keen on volunteering in international charity schemes such as "vets beyond borders" and has, along with Denise, travelled to India and Ireland with this organisation.
Denise not only has the skills to be a qualified Certificate IV Veterinary nurse but you will also see her on the front desk as a friendly receptionist. In addition, Denise is our happy, and at times patient, Puppy Preschool teacher. She also enjoys the animal behaviour aspect of the job.
Denise has a keen interest in travelling with her husband Paul and at present is walking in Nepal. She along with Nicki has travelled to Ireland and India to help these countries with their veterinary care.
Jade is the newest member to our team at Moruya Veterinary Hospital. At present Jade is helping the animal hospital out on weekends and filling in when team members are away. She has just Finished her Veterinary Nursing Certificate III course.
Jacqui is the other friendly face of the front desk at our animal hospital. Jacqui has a keen interest in photography and is responsible for the wonderful, but sometimes incriminating, photographs of the staff during communitiy activities.
Jacqui enjoys time with her family and their dog, a loveable six month old Dogue De Bordeaux (French Bull Mastiff) named Merci.
Judy is one of the friendly faces that meet you at the front desk when visiting the Moruya Veterinary Hospital. She has been with the team for two decades now and she assures me that she has enjoyed every day working at the clinic! Judy is married to Tommy and have four grownup children and eight grand children.
Judy loves travelling and with her children and grandchildren scatered over the country she does indeed get to travel to many places, including visiting her youngest son in Melbourne. She loves reading and swimming at the beach.
Sue is an asset to the animal hospital as she is the go-to-girl and helps to ensure every pet gets their vaccinations on time. Sue, husband Andy and their two daughters have a 40 acre property on which they have a small tribe of animals including; horses, sheep, cattle, dogs, cats and chickens. The couple and their family are heavily involved in the community, in particular their organisation of the Moruya Rodeo and Show, and paticapation in the Lake George Polocrosse community.
Sue enjoys travelling and frequently attends the Moruya Veterinary Hospitals Dog walk on Thursdays along with her trusty workdog, New Zealand Hunterway Moi!
Maree has a qualification in Certificate III in companion animal services and has currently applied for Certificate IV in veterinary nursing. She is an effective team member and enjoys all parts of her occuptaion. Maree has been a big part of the community competing recently in the Eurobodalla District showgirl competition and running the animal nursery at our local show.
Maree's family are a big part of her life and she enjoys spending time with them when she is not working. Maree and her dog Charlie, a four year old Kelpie, attend the Moruya Veterinary Hospitals Dog walk on Thursdays.
